Burnt Core Artists Stage Second Annual Minstrel
A. M. Alden led the Minstrel troupe through a two act program at the opera house tonight. The show featured songs by Stephen Leahy August Simon E. L. Dodge Clyde Littlejohn Frank Alden and A. A. Hadden with interludes by Mr. and Mrs. Campbell and a comic sketch by Dodge and Littlejohn. The Ethiopian drama The Booster Club of Blackville closed the program with a large cast led by Chas Alden A. M. Alden and Fred Ingle. Proceeds fund the Firemen’s tournament. Alfred Ginder born July 8 1868 in Preston Minnesota moved to Brooklyn New York in 1896 married Lena Gerlach in 1899. He died March 5 in Ladysmith from injuries in a Port Arthur accident while employed there. Survived by widow two Ladysmith sons mother brother sister in Preston Big Stone City Brooklyn.
