Tragic River Boat Accident Claims Adolph Girard
A boating accident near Thornapple dam results in the instant death of Adolph Girard aged 18. Frank Farr and a younger Girard boy were present when a shotgun discharged, fatally wounding Adolph. Justice Reeves presided over the inquest. funeral services were held at the M E church with interment in Riverside cemetery.

Wisconsin to Begin Statewide Soil Survey and Map
