They were welcomed by Congressman-elect I L Lenroot and a 28 member reception committee, toured with a luncheon at the Commercial Club, and heard speeches from Ladysmith and Superior representatives. Edwin M Brownell died suddenly at his home this afternoon from heart trouble compounded by other issues. A butcher by trade for several months with his son and years in the business, he leaves a grown family. Funeral services set for 2 p m Monday at the M E church with interment in Riverside cemetery.
Ladysmith Brick & Tile Co Elects Directors and Plans Expansion
The Ladysmith Brick and Tile Co annual stockholders meeting elected directors R. H. Burns Chas Karst J. L. Ryall J. W. Carew and L. E. McGill. Capital stock is increased by 5000 to be issued in 25 each shares. The venture, begun last year, will scale up brick manufacture next season with orders including 800000 bricks for local building.
