Two Western Paper Firemen Hurt by Steam Explosion
Two Great Western Paper Company employees, Marion Day and Ezra Scovel, were badly burned by a steam explosion at the mill around 9 30 Monday morning. Day suffered arm and shoulder burns and facial fire injuries. Scovel endured severe facial burns but less extensive injuries. Both were rushed to St Marys Hospital and are expected to recover, with Scovel possibly discharged tomorrow.
