Copper ore indicated on Willard farm in Rusk county

B F Kinyon brought rock samples from a Willard town farm to town and others declared the rock copper ore. Samples were sent to Madison for assay. Vein found at 24 feet with eight feet more drilled. Similar indications on a nearby Pedersen well suggest a long copper vein. If large, it could lower mining costs and benefit local landowners awaiting assay results.
