Ladysmith Masons Honor Banquet In Chippewa Falls
A dozen Knights of the Ladysmith Commandry joined about a hundred Tancred Commandery No. 27 Knights Templar at the Masonic hall in Chippewa Falls on Thursday evening to honor the new Grand Eminent Commander Sir Knight Thomas J. Fire destroys Ingram Mill at Ingram
A fire of unknown origin destroyed the Ingram Tie and Lumber Co. mill in Ingram Sunday night. Starting around 9 o'clock, the blaze overwhelmed the mill before help could arrive, with losses estimated near 10000 dollars and partial insurance. Manager and major stockholder L. J. Wilbert led the firm.

State and County Tax Shifts Favor County This Year
Rusk county taxpayers will face higher state taxes this year compared with 1920 while county taxes drop. State tax and charges rise from 52,916.35 to 57,098.33. county tax falls from 200,420.37 to 153,674.77. Obituary: Mrs Alfred Olsen Dies of Diphtheria Near Glen Flora
Mrs Alfred Olsen aged 26 died at her home near Glen Flora from diphtheria on December 7. Funeral services were held at the home with Rev A Dee officiating. Burial followed in Glen Flora cemetery. She was survived by a husband and two children, with a six year old son having died two weeks earlier. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Freestone of Glen Flora.

Maple Center Community Meeting Draws Large Crowds

Y F Conwell a Ladysmith real estate dealer was arrested on an indictment charging unlawfully hiring Gus Mitchell to burn an automobile owned by W E B Conwell.
