A Wednesday night blaze at Park Falls leveled Cohen & Comins general store and spread to adjoining structures. The conflagration wiped out Cohen & Comins General Merchandise, Vincent & Vincent Hardware and Furniture, Isadore Schmidt City Hotel, James Esters Saloon, The Independent Printing Office, and Chas Zoesch Rooming House.

Ladysmith Rifle Club members posted scores Sunday at 300 yards led by A Calloway and T Clark Ellingboe with Hunt close behind. At 200 yards entries included Le 44 CTARE AG and BWingboe with Schwartz scoring 38 and 43 respectively.

High School Plans Joint Gym Program and Early Events
The high school will present a joint program in the gymnasium. Miss Shantz’s kindergarten classes meet Monday at 2:00 PM for their program. The high school literary societies stage their program in the assembly room at 2:15 PM. No junior high Christmas program. the rhetorical work today will take its place.
