Military Honors For Ralph Roehrborn
Ralph Roehrborn of Ladysmith died at Camp Hancock Georgia last week. His funeral service at the Christian church Sunday drew a packed crowd. The state guard company led the ceremony with a guard of honor at the flag draped casket. Rev Fisher delivered the sermon. A floral service flag and a floral tribute from the guards appeared. The church choir and a male quartet performed, and the grave side service included Taps. The funeral procession to the cemetery was among the largest ever seen in Ladysmith with many automobiles and guard members serving as pallbearers.

Stolen Buick Delivery Truck Recovered Near Ladysmith
A new Buick delivery truck owned by William Jung was stolen from a Vienna Bakery garage Tuesday night. The thieves drove the car through Ladysmith, fueled up at Bruce and Weyerhaeuser, then abandoned it in Turtle Lake before a garage recovered it and returned it to Ladysmith. Insurance coverage and discovery by a National Biscuit Co. salesman prompted the recovery.

Ladysmith Dedicates Service Flag In Community Parade
