Death of Nathan M. Mann in Ladysmith
Nathan Miles Mann died at Gilman on Thursday afternoon at age 58 years and 8 months from general debility. He was single and survived by three sisters and a brother. He lived at the M. Emmons farm for about a year and a half and was well known in Ladysmith. M O Emmons, a second cousin, took the remains to Irvington Iowa where burial occurred in the Irvington Cemetery.

The children were placed with neighbors. the older girl Louise was sent to the Milwau kee state home for girls while the younger stays with a neighbor.
