Fall Flounder Run Tips at Jetties and San Louis Pass
Angling notes describe a fall flounder run with northerly winds and strong catches near the boat cut through the north jetty and along all jetties. Use light to medium tackle with slip sinkers, single hooks, and barrel swivels, live bait like shrimp or mud fish, and fish slowly with pauses. If crowded, try San Louis Pass for reds and speckled trout and gigging flounders at night with a lantern.
