Highway Sign Owners Filing Date Extended
The Texas Highway Commission extends the license and permit filing deadline for sign owners along Interstates and primary highways from December 81 to June 30, 1973. A permit is required for each sign and a license to advertise within 660 feet of federal highways. a $2,500 bond per county is required, with $10,000 max bonds for owners in more than three counties. A $5 permit per sign and a $25 state license fee apply.
