La Marque Teachers Open School Prep August 14
La Marque ISD teachers report August 14 for three days of inservice and school prep. Students begin August 17 at 8 a.m. with first grade and kindergarten on half days until August 28 full days. Ten holidays and two teacher inservice days noted through June 1. Grade reporting periods set for 1972 73 with nine weeks blocks. Scholarships awarded include nursing trainees and area college recipients.

Mr and Mrs James Le Lockwood of La Marque announce the arrival of their fourth child a son named Mitchell Andrew born August 3 at Galveston County Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs 7 1/2 oz.
