The First Eas ters Oregon District Agricultural Society announces the county fair will be held in Grande starting October 4 for one week. A new catalogue is issued with raised premiums and added features, plus a premium list from La Grande business men. Exhibits should be prepared for the largest Fair in Irion county history.
Large quantities of old papers offered for sale suitable for underlayment, carpet padding, shelf covering, and other waste paper uses. Papers are bundled in large packages awaiting pickup or pickup arrangements.
Sept 27 Special The Alaska Yukon Pacific exposition will feature aviation with Henri Farman’s world record aeroplane and several Humming Bird I flights from October. Aims include 500 foot flights and a week of displays leading to the exposition’s close October 16. J W Curzon of New York coordinates Farman’s machine for Seattle showings.

About 200 delegates attended with representation from every ward. Three meetings outlined the work for the coming year.
