In Brig Switzerland on September 22 George Chavez Weymann and Italian pilot Tadeoll tried a third crossing from the Alps to Milan but a blinding snow storm halted the flight. The trio suffered cold with Chavez continuing until benumbed and nearing helplessness as he landed.
