Seattle Sept 17 John Tyberg a laborer long resident of Nome is under arrest on a charge of stealing 15000 dollars in gold dust from sluice bores at Pioneer Mining Company where he worked. Tyberg arrived from Nome Monday and claims innocence. The Norwegian vice consul has taken interest in the case.
Tacoma September 17 Arthur Tuannison the amateur aeroplanist built a monoplane in the city at a cost of seven thousand dollars and will be sent to the scrap heap today after a test flight failed to lift off.
Senator LaFollette has been in poor health since returning home from Congress and may undergo an operation. Secretary of State Frear said he will travel to Rochester, Minnesota, soon to consult a family physician about the ailment.
