Secretary Williamson of the Oregon state board of horticulture reports from Oak land in Douglas county that prune yields will reach 50 percent of 1907 levels. He notes Oregon apple yields are good but frost cut outputs, while California will be a third of last year’s. Buyers favor consignments over immediate loading, and Oakland growers organize to optimize output and attract eastern fruitgrowers.
