Hat school teacher tas resigns at eleventh hour
W P Maitrejean of Summersett Wisconsin who had been offered the La Grande high school Commercial department principalship asked for release and was granted. The board then considered another applicant from South Dakota Prof Grisewald. Telegraphic acceptances are expected soon and the board will decide tomorrow night whether the department will have an instructor. If Grisewald declines other applicants will be taken up. The telegram of refusal surprised the board and Principal Stout. Grisewald appears well qualified on paper.
