Judge Henry McGinn addressed a large Union County audience at Steward Opera House last night defending Taft as friendly to labor. He argued against Democratic claims and outlined Taft's labor policies during a two hour talk after visiting local railroad shops and meeting workers.
New York October 31 A financial statement shows Union and Southern Pacific railroads posted record September earnings with Union Pacific at 1,414,524 gross and a 464,359 rise from last year. Southern Pacific grossed 10,481,004 with net 3,914,223 after lower costs.
