Walla Walla Oct 21 The state board of pardons acted on 200 applications. Favorable action was taken on 29 paroles and 87 final discharges. Two local men George A Clarke and George Edwards were recommended for final discharge. Clarke imprisoned for passing a worthless $50 check. Edwards serving a three year term for forgery and accused of passing a $45 check.
