In La Grande a verdict of guilty was returned last evening in the city case against Robt Wilkinson for selling beer to a minor Roy Chenault in violation of a local ordinance. The jury urged extreme mercy and Wilkinson will stay free on bond until Monday morning when sentence is set. Evidence showed the beer was sold by one of Wilkinson's employees.
