Grange Hall discusses State Library topics on waterways agriculture and hygiene. The program includes essays on Thanksgiving and school hygiene with readings, recitations, songs, and a discussion led by W. R. Geheler. A future topic list covers natural resources farming drainage and home health.
Uncle Sam's servants in the Ta Grandé post office will observe a Thanksgiving holiday. Carriers will not go out, and the post office will be open only at two periods. General delivery windows operate from 10 to 11 a.m. and 6:20 to 6 p.m. Patrons may pick up mail at carrier windows during those times. Also a notice seeks two young men for room and board near the post office.
Proprietor D. Bk Eccles plans three weekly program changes starting next Monday. The lineup includes motion pictures and illustrated songs such as His Own Son and The Gypsy Girls Love.
