La Grande Oregon announces outstanding warrants on general and water funds up to No 6745 issued March 14 1907 and No 6766 sealed from that date. Funds exist in the treasury to pay warrants levied on the water fund up to No 7740 endorsed July 7 1908. Interest on warrants on both funds from Nos 7612 onward called. November 9 1908 La Grande Oregon.
Cove fans expect a strong turnout for the county championship game with La Grande next Thursday in Cove. Alumni say Cove has a fair chance and the team will receive careful final preparations and endurance training despite injuries to Walters and Haines.
