Palmer Lumber Works Sees New Refuse Burner Progress
Three truckloads of material for a new refuse burner by George Palmer Lumber Company have arrived with 4200 pounds of rivets. The 27 foot diameter plant will stand to clear adjacent structures and heat from burning waste will heat an 18 inch water jacket, with steam piped to a new pond to prevent freezing. A Fahrbanks pump similar to the current one will be installed soon.
