City seeks bids for artificial stone curb along Fourth Street
Notice from City Recorder D. B. Cox invites bids for the construction of an artificial stone curb and walk on Fourth Street between O Avenue and Depot Street. Bids are due by 7 p.m. May 25, 1910, in the recorder's office. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

City council weighs contracts and water system upgrades
At the meeting the council disputed a signature on a road tax contract and debated a four inch Spring avenue main. A water mat on L avenue and paving bids for Depot street and Adams avenue were discussed. An ordinance limits fences near city limits and an improvement commission will inspect G street grading. Beverages, irrigation timing, and tagged dogs were also addressed.
