Pendiston Wool Mills Scale Production and Shipments

Pendiston wool scouring mills have bought 3,000,000 pounds of wool this year and operate day and night with 86 workers. Four thousand pounds of cleaned wool are produced daily from 16,000 pounds processed, with a 74 percent shrinkage. The Furnish warehouse has 400,000 pounds from north of the city and Pilot Rock district, with a second baling machine to handle more than last year.
