The City Council of La Grande Oregon gives notice of Improvement District No 10 on Greenwood avenue to lay 40 foot macadam roadway. It lists the affected blocks and halves in Chaplin addition and states a $5615.40 estimated cost. A May 17 1911 meeting will consider the estimate and levy with a hearing for aggrieved parties.
County Superintendent Frank K Wells of Umatilla county will attend the Eastern division Oregon State Teachers association board meeting in Baker. Superintendent J A Church III of Baker schools and Oregon Teachers association president notified Weslen of the upcoming school board meeting.
