Mrs. Jean Morris Ellis Directs Phrenology Readings Tonight
Mrs. Ellis delivers an instructive phrenology lecture at Central Church of Christ last evening and offered four readings. She lectures again tonight at 8 o'clock with public readings afterward and private sessions in the church study from 10 to 11. A stranger praised a past reading Polly. The fair commission met to approve the good roads meeting in the tabernacle and to mail the premium list to the state printer. Weather permitting, La Grande women plan a Cove visit to see the dual meet with Cove as locals expect a close contest with Cove’s strong team.
