Last evening at Seward a small crowd saw a sharp production praised as one of the best in its line since the Man of the Hour. The play features unusual mechanics and a third act climax delivering a moral ending with retribution.
The O R N will place two McKeen motor cars on its Walla Walla Wallaila Dayton and Walla Walla branches at a cost of 14000 each. The cars will cross the continent under their own power and enter service this summer, with seven passenger seats a parlor and smoking car and baggage and mail compartments. Some older units will be retired as new cars enter.
The twenty seventh annual session of the Episcopal dioceses congress opens at Trinity church Boston May 11 and will run four days with services after the first day in Tremont Temple. Bishop Lawrence presides. Speakers include Bishop Edward M Parker of New Hampshire Canon Henson of England Bishop Doane of Albany and others. A reception by the Episcopalian club and visits to the Episcopal Theological Seminary and Harvard University are planned.
