Grand Team Edges Elgin in Cold Acanani Contest
Ba Grande defeated Elgin 14 to 2 at the base ball park yesterday afternoon. Stoop’s two bagger sparked Elgin late, while O’Brien, Dean and Furnier contributed for Ba Grande. Perry routed Alicel 24 to 0 with Oleson and Heath homering. Cove beat Union 7 to 3 in Cove.

A contest affidavit by W Albert Burns against Homestead entry 14054 filed January 11 1905 covers NENE section 04 7 2.88.37 BW. Perdue allegedly abandoned the land for over six months and never resided or cultivated it. absence not due to US military service. Parties must appear and offer evidence at 10 am June 16 1908 before the register and receiver.
