La Grande Teacher Named for University of Oregon Summer School
Prof. F. J. Neubauer of La Grande high school will join the University of Oregon summer program as chair lecturer in mathematics. The six week session to begin June 26 will feature instructors from many states and include a rural school supervisors department for the first time.

The Sells-Floto circus announces a June first stop in La Grande as part of its summer tour. Advances say admission stays at 25 cents with a daily show cost of about 3000 dollars. The act promises increased quality and quantity with 20 more cars and many novelties in the program.
