New Haven June 28 Yale President Hadley announced at the annual dinner that John D Rockefeller recently gave a million dollars to the university. He said two million has been given in total recently, with another million subscribed by graduates. The gifts are to be invested in income producing securities as an endowment, with only the income used for current expenses.
