Voices Selected For Mormon Tabernacle Choir Finalists
Evan Stephens has chosen 200 singers to Seattle next month for a mixed chorus of 75 to 125 competing for a $1,000 prize. Rehearsals have been held three to four nights weekly. The four stand concerts at the tabernacle during G A R week begin August 9 with complimentary GA veterans tickets, while the public pays. If five concerts earn standing room million expenses remain to be met for the Northwest tour.
