Concrete Bridge Test Commends Millergak Crossing on Fourth Street
The Walla Walla Bulletin reports a 60 ton load test on the new concrete bridge across Millergak on Fourth Street. Officials expect to accept the structure tonight and pay contractor F. B. Nelson after a 4 o'clock test using two fire engines a 12 ton roller and a seven ton roller plus dirt and a hauling team. No deflection was observed on the 47 foot span.

J W Kennedy and family, Union county pioneers, went through the city en route to Wallawa to visit friends.
