Reported in Cove today a group of cherry growers and seasonal pickers plan to confront rival labor groups in the orchards. The effort aims to secure the crop but could jeopardize harvest if not led, with pickers paid per day ranging from 1 to 7.46 units and packing by others at lower rates.
