La Grande Oregon passes Ordinance 461 Series 1910 to destroy Russian Canada Chinese and other thistles white mustard cockle burr silver salt bush and dandelion. It imposes fines from 2.50 to 10.00 for owners who allow weeds to bloom and seeds form with notices served by the street superintendent. The measure requires publication in the La Grande Evening Observer.
