Saturday night marks the first test of Pliny incandescent lighting on Adams Avenue and Depot Street, three blocks and two blocks illuminated respectively. The Grande Ronde Electric Company backs the project with funds ready for payment as improvements continue, promising brighter nights and fewer half lit streets.
