In Union county and the Grande Ronde valley dairy cown are not for sale. Mr. Clark of Buttes Montana sought to purchase dairy stock but found no first class cows to part with. Locals deem dairy cows a profitable asset and decline to sell to out of valley buyers.
The Amateur league announces changes for next Sunday with Huntington visiting Baker City and Elgin traveling to Huntington’s venue. The Huntington game starts at 3 o'clock with Cove versus Union slated for Union.
The Blue Mountain Grange No 345 will offer a rest room for Grangers and families on July 7 at the Knights of Pythias hall. This community gathering moves to the K of P hall for the event.
