After ten years of drive the La Grande Elks lodge buys a 70 by 110 foot block on Washington Avenue near the creamery to build a modern home. The site replaces an earlier option beside Selder's candy store and will be the location for a structure facing Washington Avenue costing about 4500 dollars. Plans and specifications will follow.
