First Glass Sewerage System Plans Nearing Completion
Engineer Darley is finalizing a city sewerage plan started December 1. In four days office and field work wrap up except the disposal plant, with council decision on timing at the next meeting. Plans cover the entire city, automatic tanks, 6 to 16 inch main pipe, underground work eight feet deep, and full platting for easy owner taps. Cost estimated at 750 dollars, cheaper than other bids.
