Plan AB and primary nomination reform in Oregon history
The text discusses how the primary nomination law reduces factional control by political machines, forcing candidates to reveal positions to voters. It notes the decline of county factional strife and growth in Republican success under primaries, and briefly profiles Mr. Dimick born in 1869, his legal admission in 1896, mayoral terms, 1904 electoral role, and 1906 county judge election.
