If not claimed and charges paid by January 19 1905 the animal will be sold to the highest bidder for cash.
Westbound train hit an open switch near The Dalles on Sunday morning causing the engine to plunge eight feet. No serious injuries. passengers shaken. Wrecker arrived in two hours, track cleared by seven that evening. Cause cited as a switch left open to thaw causing the collision as train slowed at a tank stop.
