Pioneer Priest John Heinrich Dies After Long Service
Rt. Rev. John Heinrich vicar general of the Baker City diocese died at St Elizabeth's hospital. Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 from the cathedral with Bishop O'Reilly delivering the eulogy and The Dalles priest A A Gronsgwest singing the mass. Heinrich, born in Austria, served Oregon churches for decades and was longtime superintendent of St Michael's College and St Marys home.
