The Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company will restore the daily passenger train between Pendleton and Walla Walla starting February 24. Train 45 leaves Walla Walla at 9:00 AM arriving Pendleton 10:45 AM, Train 46 departs Pendleton at 4:50 PM arriving Walla Walla at 6:50 PM. Mixed trains Nos. 41 and 42 remain in service without passenger cars after that date. Local residents welcome the improvement and anticipate strong patronage.
