Sugar factory proposed near Spokane with 1.5 million
A Spokane dispatch reports Lamon Sugar Co of Colorado plans a 1.5 million project to build a sugar factory near Spokane. The venture would employ about 600 workers plus hundreds for farming 15,000 acres of beet land irrigated in the Spokane valley with four large water tracts completed.
