Community Urged to Inspect La Grande School Facilities

A Commercial Club meeting will hear a committee report urging a new high school and noting urgent repair needs at grade schools including ventilation and sanitation problems. The committee, led by George Stoddard and others, visited sites and will file the report tonight, inviting taxpayer input.

Taft Brother Henry W Taft Admitted in Los Angeles

Henry W Taft brother of President Taft was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles today with erysipelas. He is reported much improved after a restful night and is expected to be able to travel in about a week.
