Reptiles Harmless Uses Simple Apparatus for Capturing Snakes
A Boston man, W O Mason, operates a snake catching business using a long stick, a string, and a dredging device to capture venomous rattlers and copperheads. He claims snakes avoid conflict and has hunted near Randolph, reporting counts of up to twenty per day. He preserves venom for sale to colleges, with skin and oil commodities yielding income.
