Mr. ieo B Stoddard of Ame Rond Lumber Company predicts a prosperous 1906 for lumbering and other lines. He notes demand for logs and satisfactory lumber prices, and argues irrigation will shift farming from large wheat growers to smallholders, expanding population growth and local prosperity in the Granda Ronde Valley.
