The circuit court heard the case of McCoy Mullemberg and Rynearson charged with breaking into a house and mistreating Mrs Geytrup. Hazel the 10 year old daughter identified Raymond McCoy as the man who broke the window and let the others in. The girl could not say if the other defendants were at the mother’s house. He said he would return to Chicago peacefully with $9000 found on him, and that the money would not be used in fighting extradition. The couple planned to invest in Seattle business. the wife went to the Butler hotel and remains undecided. Bruce said he told his wife in Chicago he was coming to Seattle, and she vowed to have him arrested and brought back.
