The Modern Woodmen of America gathered for annual officer elections and approved a winter membership drive aiming to add one hundred new members to La Grande camp No. 7705. J. W. Simmons of Woodmen of Oregon encouraged expansion and meetings will move to Mondays. Officers elected include Venerable Council F. B. Currey and Worthy Advisor E. C. Davis.
