Seemann Returns From Presbyterian Church Council
Northwest delegates to the Advisory Council of the Presbyterian Church in the United States returned to Oregon and Washington via the southern route. Dr. W. Seemann of the city and Dr. Wilson of Seattle served as representatives, with Rev. J. H. Barjon of Idaho also attending. The meeting, praised by Dr. Thompson as epoch making, followed a legacy gift of 13 million dollars from John Stuart Kennedy and over 7 million to the Board. Seemann reports a fruitful trip with renewed inspiration for church extension and self supporting synods.
